| This past weekend was awesome! Sunday was very "EVENTFUL." Sunday night while P Bryan was preaching, a person (not sure if it was a child or an adult) burped out loud! It was HILLARIOUS! Everyone heard it and several of us laughed, and i am sure P Bryan heard it, but he did not react.
We went out to eat at American Pie after church and two of my friends (which will remain nameless) spilled their drinks (luckily it was water), the first one was right next to me and i tried to stop the water from falling into Jennifer's lap, so i saved her life basically! LOL
Sunday morning during first service, about 8 minuets after church started, we were right in the middle of worship (singing a new song), and the electricity goes out, it gets PITCH BLACK in the sanctuary. We continued singing, it only lasted about 5 seconds then the lights came back on, but it took several minutes for the TV monitors, the sound, etc. to come back on. P. Steve turned to us in the choir and was mouthing the words to let us know where we were, and we stayed together pretty well, even though we could NOT hear the orchestra very well because they were DOWN in front of us. P Rod came up and had us sing that song again (the last 1/2 of the song) and he said. "this time WITHOUT the power outage!" It was hillarious! I have no idea what happened, but it was a weird experience!
This weekend is Easter and we all need to remember WHY we have Easter.............to celebrate the crucifixion and resurection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This Friday (Good Friday) we are having Remember the Cross at 7:00 at our church. Then Saturday we are having "EGGS-travaganza" from 11-2, egg hunt, give-a-ways. etc. It will be a blast for all families!
